Oakmont II Home Owners Association
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who is responsible for maintenance of the common area?
A: The association is responsible for the maintenance of all the landscaping such as mowing, maintenance of the shrubbery, irrigation, lighting, etc and the entrances to both the subdivision and the park. The association is also responsible for the fence along Market Boulevard and Green Oaks Lane.
Q: Why is "street parking" such an issue?
A: The covenants of our association address this issue and, simply put, state that vehicles of residents should not be parked on the street. Guests may generally park there unless they will be guests for an extended time. Details can be found in the covenants.
Q: Can the park be used for family outings?
A: Yes. However, when used for such occasions, the homeowner is responsible for cleaning up after the event and returning the park to it's beautiful condition. Also, the homeowner and guests should keep in mind the need to be considerate of those homeowners whose property joins the park.
Q: If I want to make suggestions or direct comments or questions to the Board, how do I do that?
A: Simply e-mail board@oakmont2hoa.com or go to contact us and fill out the form and your suggestion or comments will be sent to all Board members.
Q: Are pets allowed in the park?
A: Yes. However, the Town of Collierville has leash laws and your neighbors appreciate you picking up after your pets.
